Hope you are enjoying your weekend. Nancy and two
of our sisters are having a get together in Wisconsin.Nancy
took her computer with her and said she may check in
depending on how well she feels. I was supposed to go
to my 40th reunion this weekend but I just couldn't find the
enthusiasm to do it and it's only a block away. I went to the 30th
and the people I cared about in school didn't show.

Wow! Never knew that about Snopes.com! I've always trusted their
site, and have never had any malware or spyware downloaded to my
computer from it, but there's always a first time! The only pop-up
I always get when accessing their site is for Netflix, but I get
that at many other sites too.
Many people feel the couple that runs the site are too liberal in
their views, and that their research reflects the same, but to my
knowledge it's not been proved.
I simply enjoyed the pic of their cat at the bottom of the article,
and that's why I sent it to you.
Thanks for the "head's up"! I'll be very watchful in the future
when I access their site.

buffalo says I used to run Google Ad-sense on my sites and hated to
remove it but they don't screen their advertisers well enough and
the malware that we have to clean up is being transmitted through
that
service. It isn't just the big sites like Snopes, even the online
site for
my local newspaper had the same problem along with CNN.
