Hi,
I have a Dell Laptop and it started malfunctioning. I reloaded
Windows XP, but now it won't make any sounds. I know it has an internal
speaker for making at least the basic Windows sounds (open a file, close
a file, start Windows, etc.) I've looked through all of the sound
settings and it just says that there is no sound device installed. How
do I get the internal speaker working again? Thanks for your help.
buffalo says If the audio was working before you reloaded Windows, then
it sounds like you may be
mising a driver for your audio chip. If you have a driver CD and
installed it, it may be necessary to
go to the Dell site and see if they have an updated driver.
