buffalo Says I spent some time with Nancy tonight. She was
really sick last weekend. Not sure what it was, possibly flu
or food poisoning but she has perked up a lot since then. She
sends her love and thanks for all of your prayers. She is heading
to Wisconsin this weekend to be with her sisters for maybe the

I wonder if it has something to do with your browser showing whether
you are on a secure web site. Try right clicking on it and see if it
gives you a helpful option. If that doesn't help you could try
checking your startup programs by running msconfig. You could try a
restore back to before This occurred. Gordon

You don't say how old your computer is, or why you need the video
card. You're probably better off buying a new computer. One thing
I have found from building my own is that by the time I build my
next machine I have to replace the CPU, motherboard, RAM, and video
card as the standard has changed for all of them. Since there isn't
much left over I just buy the case, hard drive, and an optical drive
and I have another spare machine (my old one).
There are many video card slots, PCI, AGP, PCI-Express, VESA, and
I'm sure I'm missing a few. Here are some pictures from Google -

It is better to figure out which computer/motherboard you have and
find a card that will fit it.

Just finished doing the Windows Anytime Upgrade (from Win 7 Home
Prem to Win 7 Professonal as I have many programs that run better on
XP. I was told I would have to download XP after upgrading,;
however, there were no links or instructions at the end of the OS
download. Any idea where we get the other downloads ??
Also, haven't seen an update on Nancy in a few weeks. We love her.

I have Win 7 Pro also, but I haven't gotten around to playing with
the ability to run WinXP in it. So I'm not going to be of any help
for you.

I can successfully uninstall my HP laptop mouse pad, however each
time I
re-boot I have to go through the un-install again which requires
another
re-boot. The question is: How can I uninstall it permanently?
I go to control panel, 'mouse', hardware, properties, driver and
uninstall from there..(don't think I left out any steps)

Don't bother uninstalling it. Install the latest drivers from HP.
This should put an icon down by your clock. Open up the properties
and turn the Sensitivity all the way up. I believe there is also a
setting called Palm Check, turn that one up too. This will stop if
from moving your cursor, but still have it available if you don't
have the mouse for some reason.

solved. Guess it is good to bounce questions off folks. You ask me
if I had changed anything before the problem started. I had
forgotten I had changed how I boot up. I went back to old boot up
and problem solved. Thanks
