I have my upgrade in February with Verizon, but I wanted to have a good idea of what phone to get before Spring semester starts up. Basically, the Galaxy Nexus is my ideal phone, but my price range is a max of $ 200.00, hopefully less. This would be my first smart phone, and so far I’ve been leaning toward the Samsung Droid Charge. I prefer android over apple/ios, but if an iphone is the best option under $ 200.00, I’m not completely opposed to getting an iphone.
I want to have a good quality phone that I can depend on, though I don’t mind if I have to charge it all the time. I really want something that can last me a few years.

My husband has the Droid charge and it is a great phone. The Droid bionic would be a good choice as well and it will receive the ice cream sandwich update sometime in the near future so it would be similar to the galaxy nexus in terms of the operating system.

Which phone to get?
The HTC Sensation, Samsung Galaxy S2 Nexus S, HTC EVO 3D or Desire S
BTW I am leaning for multimedia purposes… The prices don’t matter, AT&T, Verizon etc. aren’t a concern since I live outside of the United States… Any help would be appreciated 
the nexus s has oldish hardware specs the galaxy s 2 has mostly plastic build quality i would choose either the HTC EVO 3D or the HTC sensation
By your conditions all phones are at thier best at thier parts…!!

but still i’ll recoomend you Htc’s phone

EVO 3d would be a great option..!!
nexus s is not in competition of these great phones..!!
so you should buy htc EVO 3d or most probably samsung galaxy s 2..~~

HTC Sensation is good. but its more of a “user friendly” phone

Nexus S actually has a compass problem if that is a big issue to you and has no MiniSD slot.
HTC EVO is awesome but HTC EVO 3D? its just not worth it.
Desire?.. I dont know.i guess its okay.
All these phones are great for multimedia use since they all have atleast a 1 GHz processor.
Nexus S would be greatly supported by google though with latest firmwares
